What a difference a week makes! For our second match of the Fall 2026 season, Empire FC defended home ground at Moreno Valley Community Park against a strong Olimpico FC squad. The energy from the opening whistle was electrifying, and the entire sideline could feel a completely new rhythm taking over the field.
From start to finish, you could see the pieces falling into place. The passing was crisper, the communication was louder, and the defensive shape was on another level. Holding a tough opponent to just 3-0 after last week’s opener shows the sheer amount of heart and hard work these kids put into practice. Every single player stepped up, held their ground, and trusted the teammate next to them.
This wasn’t just another game, it was the day Empire FC truly began to gel as a unit. We saw fantastic recovery runs, brilliant hustle to win back possession, and the kind of unshakeable confidence that comes from playing for each other. The progress between Week 1 and Week 2 has been nothing short of inspiring.
The scoreboard may not show a win yet, but anyone watching at Moreno Valley Community Park knows this squad is building something special. The smiles are bigger, the bond is stronger, and the momentum is entirely on our side. Bring on the next challenge. Go Empire!
